This guide explains how to enable access to AUTOMY with a corporate Microsoft account for the first time and how an administrator can grant consent on behalf of the entire organization.

Important: in previous versions of AUTOMY, the sign-in option was labeled Office 365 .

In the current interface, it is labeled Microsoft .

When should this procedure be used? This procedure is mainly used when: the organization is using Microsoft sign-in with AUTOMY for the first time; an administrator must authorize AUTOMY for users in the Microsoft Entra tenant; Microsoft requests consent again because permissions were revoked or changed.

If administrator consent has already been granted and the requested permissions have not changed, later users may not see the consent screen again.

Prerequisites Have an administrator account in the organization's Microsoft Entra ID tenant.

The administrator must be authorized by Microsoft to grant application consent on behalf of the organization.

For these delegated permissions, roles such as Cloud Application Administrator , Application Administrator , or Privileged Role Administrator can grant consent, depending on tenant configuration.

The corresponding user must already be created or enabled in AUTOMY.

For an initial setup, send the administrator's email address to support@automy.global .

If AUTOMY sends an account confirmation email, complete the confirmation before continuing.

Use a work or school account from the correct Microsoft tenant.
